We can escape into the realms of Far Orion where this digital fantasy story needs our input. You've got a small group of heroes looking to prove themselves against the dangerous forces of the ominous Ruler. You may not be super strong right now, but you can make your way from the outskirts of monsters and vagabonds to the elites located further within the kingdom surrounding the Ruler.

About Far Orion

There was a time when fantasy RPGs focused on a tight-knit team of developed characters and there still are, but now it's more about having as many with the strongest wills. This game is all about gathering and recruiting heroes to your cause so that you can put together a squad that is ready to take on anything. You need to balance your party members so that they all get stronger and can fill in when needed to face a new threat. The heroes need to be managed and geared up using all the experience and knowledge they gain from old and upcoming battles.

How to Play

Far Orion is a 2D fantasy RPG about gathering a roster of heroes to form a party that can fight anything using the mouse. When in battle, your characters will automatically attack the nearest target. To navigate the UI and do things like activate certain abilities, you need to move your cursor over to it and click the Left Mouse Button. Abilities have an energy cost and cooldown, both of which are shown at the bottom of the screen. Your character's stats are shown in the top left corner and the enemy's stats are shown in the top right corner. The goal is to keep winning fights, getting stronger, and making progress through the story missions.

The game is level-based with all the levels being placed along a path. Each battle can net you up to three stars based on how quickly you defeat the enemy and how many of your own heroes are alive. When you aren't in battle, you can manage your team and individual heroes. You'll collect new ability cards which can be swapped in to use their effects and upgraded using gems. Heroes will get stronger by fighting and earning experience and by filling all of their gear slots with items that fit. As you keep fighting, you'll earn experience overall which will unlock new perks, features, and rewards.

Tips and Tricks

You'll start unlocking heroes as you make progress through the story and you'll need to consistently check your roster. Battles will tell you what kind of enemies to expect so tailor your party and abilities to take advantage of their weaknesses. Check the UI frequently for additional rewards and events to further increase strength.
