Relic Splatter
We have figures like Lara Croft and Indiana Jones to thank for making grave-robbing seem like a fun and lucrative venture like in Relic Splatter. The hero this time is a woman named Rebecca Ciler who has found an entrance into a mysterious temple belonging to an old god of the sun. She's a talented and courageous explorer equipped with unconventional gear and athletics to navigate all the perils of the mysterious tomb. It's your responsibility to guide her through these dungeons so that she can get her hands on the valuable treasures and artifacts that are floating throughout the chambers.
About Relic Splatter
An arcade game has a very certain and simplistic feel to it, but as long as it offers fast gameplay and feedback, many games could be considered arcade style. This game is one of them since you'll jump into the chambers to start shooting, flying, and collecting. Also, it has the arcade staple in that it's very easy to make mistakes, secrets to find, and the chance that you'll die seconds after you start. Of course, there's no need to worry about running out of coins or tokens, which means you can throw yourself at this ancient and exciting deathtrap as many times as you want.

Relic Splatter is a 2D platforming game about searching an ancient temple for treasure using the mouse and keyboard.

The goal of each level is to collect all three gold relics, with there being two secret red relics to find. When you've collected all the gold relics, the door to the next room will open and you can leave. You start with three hearts and if you lose all of them, you'll need to try again.
Rebecca is equipped with an unusual weapon called a Splatter Gun. It has two variants: Rapid fire and Blast. The first has a high ammo and fire rate which makes it useful for taking down enemies but serves a more important function in helping Rebecca "fly" by aiming down and firing. The second has very limited shots but very high damage with its main purpose being to destroy weak parts of the wall. You can identify weak blocks by shooting them with rapid fire and then blasting them. This is what you'll need to do to get certain gold relics and secret relics. If either variant runs low on ammo, look for pools of the corresponding color and jump in to recharge.
While exploring, Rebecca will have to contend with a number of dangers. This includes ground and flying enemies that hurt her on contact. There will also be traps scattered about like spikes and crushing blocks that you'll simply need to avoid. Many enemies can be destroyed by shooting at them but traps can't.
Tips and Tricks
As with any other games taking place in ancient temples, you should mind your surroundings. Before making leaps to the next platform, check enemy placement as well as the walls, ceilings, and floors for anything that looks suspicious. If you see an oddly placed enemy, chances are that they're guarding something.
